Havana, Nov 18 (RHC) On Friday, within the framework of the 38th edition of the Havana International Fair -FIHAV 2022-, the governments of Cuba and Mexico strengthened maritime collaboration with the signing of a contract between the companies Navegación Caribe, a branch of the Grupo Empresarial de Transporte Marítimo Portuario, and the Mexican company PSM S.A. de C.V.
This is a technical administration agreement to supply vessels that have low technical availability coefficient and insert them in international voyages, Ernesto Antonio Rivera Rodríguez, general director of Navegación Caribe, explained to the Cuban News Agency.
As part of FIHAV 2022, contracts and memorandums of understanding were also signed between the two countries related to fertilizer production, naval logistics, and maritime supply services.
Entrepreneurs from some 40 companies from Mexico City, Nuevo León, Quintana Roo, Yucatán and Zacatecas held business exchanges in areas such as agribusiness, construction, maritime logistics, information technology, tourism and textiles.
In recent days, Miguel Díaz Reynoso, Mexico's ambassador to this Antillean nation, highlighted the support of its president, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, to advance cooperation with the Island, an aspiration supported by both the federal and local governments.
FIHAV 2022 concludes its official program today after gathering Cuban companies and businessmen from 62 nations for five days. (Source: ACA)
