Havana, April 28 (RHC) --Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel today visited sites of social, historical and cultural interest in the municipality of Guanabacoa, in this capital, reports the Presidency on Twitter.
This morning he visited the Historic Center of the demarcation, declared a National Monument in 1990 and today in the process of renovation.
Accompanied by local authorities, the president toured the center of the Havana municipality, where cultural, gastronomic and service institutions have been rescued, in addition to its streets and sidewalks.
During his tour, the President greeted the residents gathered in the place and insisted on the popular control that the people must exercise over the new works so that everything looks good and the available resources are taken care of.(Source:Twitter Presidencia)
