Havana, May 19 (RHC)-- Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel attended the closing ceremony of the Cuba-Russia Business Economic Forum and the XI Meeting of the Cuba-Russia Business Committee at the 1930 Hall of the Hotel Nacional in this capital.
The Cuban leader was accompanied by Prime Minister Manuel Marrero, Ricardo Cabrisas, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Trade and Foreign Investment, and Dmitri N. Chernyshenko, Vice-President of the Government of the Russian Federation.
Since Wednesday, more than 100 businessmen from the Eurasian country explored with representatives of the largest Antillean Island the ways to strengthen ties in areas such as transportation logistics, agro-industrial cooperation, innovation, digital transformation, construction and tourism.
The Business Economic Forum and the Cuba-Russia Business Committee Meeting took place in the context of the 20th Session of the Intergovernmental Commission for economic-commercial and scientific-technical collaboration between the two nations, held on Thursday. (Source:ACN)
