Li Xi ended official visit to Cuba, where he participated in the G77 Summit
Havana, Sep 19 (RHC) Army General Raúl Castro this Monday bid farewell to the member of the Permanent Committee of the Political Bureau of the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), Li Xi, who concluded an official visit to Cuba.
Raúl Castro accompanied the also secretary of the Central Commission for Disciplinary Control of the CCP to the José Martí airport, at the culmination of his stay in Havana, where he participated in the Summit of the Group of 77 developed on September 15 and 16.
As part of his official program on the island, the senior Chinese leader visited the Fidel Castro Ruz Center, where he and his delegation received a detailed explanation of the content of the nine exhibition rooms, inaugurated on November 25, 2021.
With the guidance of the director of the institution, René González, and the head of the preservation department of the documentary heritage of the Palace of the Revolution, Alberto Albariño, the Chinese leader appreciated the personality of Fidel Castro, a world-class figure, beloved and respected by the Chinese Communist Party, the government and the people of that country.
During his stay in Cuba, Li also visited areas of an agricultural cooperative in the western province of Artemisa, where he learned first-hand the experience of a closed cycle production model in various crops.
The affection between the special envoy of Chinese President Xi Jinping and his hosts on the Antillean island demonstrated the excellent state of Cuban-Chinese relations and the shared will to continue deepening bilateral ties. (Source: PL)
