Cuba ratifies interest in strengthening cooperation with Seychelles
Havana, January 31 (RHC) The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Cuba, Bruno Rodríguez, ratified this Wednesday his country's interest in continuing to strengthen bilateral cooperation with Seychelles, during a meeting with his counterpart from the African nation, Louis Sylvestre Radegonde.
Rodríguez reiterated his gratitude for Seychelles' support for the resolution against the blockade that the Caribbean nation presents every year at the United Nations, as well as for the one approved within the African Union against the unilateral policy.
At the meeting, the diplomats reviewed the state of bilateral relations and recalled the ties of brotherhood between both nations, as reported by the Cuban Foreign Ministry on its website.
The Seychellois head of Foreign Affairs and Tourism recognized Cuba's support for his country in the field of health and in the training of professionals.
Radegonde congratulated the island for its performance at the head of the G77 and China, citing the excellent development of the Summit in Havana, with positive results for the countries of the Global South. (Source: PL)
