Cuba celebrates anniversary of relations with Sao Tome and Principe
Havana, Jul 10 (RHC) The Cuban Foreign Ministry today celebrated the 49th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations with the Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe.
Through its official account on X, the Cuban Foreign Ministry ratified the will to continue working for the consolidation and diversification of bilateral relations.
São Tomé and Príncipe and the Caribbean nation have collaborated in several sectors, such as education, agriculture and health.
In 2020, Cuba sent a brigade of the Henry Reeve International Contingent of Specialized Doctors to support the efforts of this African government in the fight against the Covid-19 pandemic.
The Democratic Republic of Sao Tome and Principe, is an African country made up of several islands located in the Gulf of Guinea, specifically 240 kilometers northwest of the coast of Gabon. (Source: Prensa Latina)
