Cienfuegos, September 17 (RHC) --The Hero of the Republic of Cuba and National Coordinator of the Committees for the Defense of the Revolution, Gerardo Hernández Nordelo, calls for support in the process of accountability of the delegates to their voters in all the constituencies of the country, which will take place from September 20th to November 15th.

“Today, we CDR members, are called to join in and support in every way possible,” he says, “so that this process is, in addition to being courageous, because undertaking a process of these characteristics in a country under blockade with so many economic difficulties is a challenge.

“We revolutionaries are used to taking on challenges and this will not be the exception.  We are going to carry out a quality process, we are going to carry out a process that will also be one of revolutionary reaffirmation and confidence in our system and in our People’s Power and the CDR members will be in the front line supporting us.”

How can we support this First Process of Accountability of the delegate to his electors corresponding to the XVIII Period of Mandates of the Municipal Assemblies of People’s Power convened by the Council of State? 

His response: “With the delegates, going out to participate in the assemblies, beautifying the places where they are going to be held and cooperating in everything that is asked of us, but fundamentally with our active assistance.”
