Havana, Oct 9 (RHC) The 1st Cuban ICT Business Forum organized by the Ministry of Communications and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Cuba will take place today in a virtual format using the TrueConf platform.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the event is part of efforts to strengthen ties between Cuba and Cuban nationals abroad and continues the tradition of the 4th Conference on the Nation and Emigration.
It is also aimed at updating Cubans abroad on policies and strategies adopted in the country regarding digital transformation and artificial intelligence.
This space will provide an opportunity to exchange experiences, share initiatives, and strengthen collaboration with Cuban professionals in the software and information technology services industry based abroad.
In addition, foreign investment opportunities in the sector will be presented with the goal of establishing new cooperation links that will lead to a more digitalized country.
Representatives from the Ministry of Communication, the Union of Cuban Scientists, the Scientific and Technological Park in Havana, and Cuban diplomats will participate in the event. (Source: Prensa Latina)
