Havana, Nov 13 (RHC) The 1st International Congress of Alumni of the Latin American School of Medicine begins today in Havana, with the purpose of discussing topics such as primary healthcare, emergency situations, natural disasters, and pedagogy in higher medical education.
According to the program, which will take place at the Havana Convention Center until the 15th, the event will host the 2nd International Alumni Assembly and provide a platform for discussions on postgraduate education, challenges, and experiences in the field of medical sciences.
Cuban and international experts, as well as representatives from international organizations, will deliver keynote lectures.
The event will also feature, panels, roundtables, research presentations, poster sessions, and other formats; and will allow participants to attend pre-congress courses on current topics of interest in higher education and medical sciences. (Source: Prensa Latina)
