Havana, December 20 (RHC)-- Cuban authorities have reiterated the call for the march that will take place Friday on the Havana Malecón.

On its account on the social network X, the Presidency of the Republic declared that the United States Government must end the inhuman blockade and the infamous inclusion of Cuba in the list of countries that supposedly sponsor terrorism.

The Cuban Government also shared the announcement accompanied by the hashtag #MarchoXCuba.

“We will march to demand the end of the blockade and the exclusion of Cuba from the list of countries that supposedly sponsor terrorism.  The fighting people will be in the streets to defend the Homeland, the message indicated.

The First Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Cuba and President of the Republic, Miguel Díaz-Canel, during the second and last day of the IX Plenary Session of the Central Committee of the Party, last Friday, called on the people to march.

The Cuban leader expressed that once again, in the midst of difficult situations that reach the point of emergency, the essence of this criminal and genocidal blockade and the multidimensional war that we face is confirmed.

“Yes, there is a blockade.  Yes, the blockade has been intensified.   Yes, there is an economic war.  Yes, they despise us.   Yes, they vulgarly, obscenely and hatefully poison us on social networks,” he reaffirmed.
