Miami, February 13 (RHC) -– U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Roberta Jacobson took part in a meeting with local business leaders at Miami-Dade College in downtown Miami Thursday to discuss the ongoing talks and negotiations between the U.S. and Cuba.
Jacobson is currently touring Miami and meeting with various local leaders to gauge community reaction to the recently launched process of normalization of diplomatic relations between the two countries.
She is one of two American diplomats leading the negotiations between the U.S. and Cuba.
According to participants, issues such as the establishment of embassies, telecommunications and the U.S. economic blockade on Havana were brought up during one of the meetings in Miami.
