Luanda, March 12 (RHC) -– Cooperation between Angola and Cuba and the scheduling of high-level diplomatic contacts were discussed on Thursday during a meeting between the Vice President of the Angolan Republic, Manuel Vicente, and Cuban Ambassador Gisela Garcia Riveira.
According to the Cuban diplomat, the meeting aimed to review the main topics of cooperation between both countries, with focus on education and health sectors.
The construction of residences for Cuban physicians in Angola was also discussed.
Both officials also talked about the upcoming visit to Angola of Cuban First Vice President Miguel Diaz Canel, scheduled for next week.
