Havana, September 28 (RHC)-- The President of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam, Truong Tan Sang, is paying an official visit to Cuba, during which he will hold talks with Cuban President Raul Castro.
Truong Tan Sang was born on January 21, 1949 in the My Hanh community, a rural district in the province of Long An.
During the 11th Congress of Vietnam's Communist Party in January 2011, Truong Tan Sang was elected member of the Central Committee and the Politburo of that organization and was elected Vietnamese president during the first session of the National Assembly's 8th Legislature in July 2011.
