Geneva, September 28 (RHC)-- The 13th International Congress on Sugar and Derivatives DIVERSIFICATION 2015, where professionals from 20 countries will present technical and commercial works, will take place from October 5th through the 9th in Havana.

Event organizers reported that issues related to sugar technology, industrial efficiency, biomass energy, alcohol and beverages, animal food, and sugar derivatives will be analyzed.

They also to said that during the encounter payment systems for sugarcane, bio-products, management quality and experience in production chains will be discussed.

Business opportunities offered by the Cuban sugar industry, under the new Foreign Investment Law, which establishes a system of facilities, guarantees and legal investment security, will also be analyzed.
