Saint Petersburg, November 24 (RHC)-- Hero of the Republic of Cuba Antonio Guerrero met with students and professors of School 43 of Saint Petersburg, in Russia, who are members of a solidarity with Cuba group.

Antonio, one of the Cuban Five, visited the school accompanied by Cuban Ambassador to Russia, Emilio Lozada. They toured the museum dedicated to the Great Patriotic War, and paid homage to three Cuban internationalist fighters who joined the Soviet forces that fought against the Nazi invasion.

During his stay in Saint Petersburg, the Cuban hero has also met with members of the Russian Federation's Communist Party. In Moscow, Antonio Guerrero was awarded the Commemorative Medal of the 50th Anniversary of the Russia-Cuba Friendship Association.
