Havana, February 4 (RHC)-- Cuban President Raul Castro has returned to Cuba after a successful two-day state visit to France.
Upon his arrival at the capital’s Jose Marti International Airport on Wednesday, he was received by Jose Ramon Machado Ventura, Second Secretary of the Central Committee of the Cuban Communist Party (PCC) and Vice President of the Councils of State and Ministers.
During his State visit to the European nation, the Cuban president was received by his French counterpart, President François Hollande, and met with other officials in Paris. He also met with Irina Bokova, director general of UNESCO, and visited a number of historic places of interest.
