Havana, May 11 (RHC)-- Cuba and Algeria have signed a cooperation accord in the field of hydraulics that paves the way for the training of professionals from the African nation by Cuban experts.
The document was signed by Arezki Barraki, Director of Algeria's National Water Resources Agency and Manuel Fuentes, President of Cuban company Cubahidráulica.
The signing ceremony was in the framework of a meeting between Cuba's Minister for Foreign Trade and Investment Rodrigo Malmierca, and Abdelmalek Boudiaf, Minister of Health, Population and Hospital Reform of Algeria. During the exchange, both authorities expressed their governments' intent on expanding and strengthening cooperation relations between Cuba and Algeria in such sectors as the economy, science, technology and culture.
