Havana, June 2 (RHC)-- The Kingdom of Belgium has awarded Havana City Historian Dr. Eusebio Leal the Knight of the Order of Leopold Medal, one of three Belgian honorary Orders of Knighthood.
The award was presented to Dr. Leal by visiting Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Didier Reynders.
The award is given by Belgium to extraordinary personalities and was bestowed upon Dr. Leal in consideration of the impressive renovation work in Old Havana under Leal’s guidance.
