The First Secretary of the Cuban Embassy to Australia, Jorge Trujillo, and other diplomats from the island opened a Cuban art exhibition at Melbourne’s Frankston Arts Center in Australia.

The exhibition consists of paintings, prints and photographs by prominent Cuban artists Nelson Dominguez, Zaida del Rio, Ileana Mulet, Ernesto Garcia, Henry Wong, and Juan Carlos Muñoz.

Parallel to the exhibit, set to run until March 29, the Cuban movie Roble de Olor (Scented Oak), directed by filmmaker Rigoberto Lopez, will be screened.
The opening was attended by Melbourne’s Mayor and Chile’s Consul General, as well as journalists, intellectuals and artists from Australia, Cape Verde and Brazil.
