Havana, September 2 (ACN)-- The Santiago de Cuba team beat Villa Clara 8-2, a victory that allowed it to tie the sub-series at one win apiece, in the final for the title of the VII National Under-23 Baseball Series.
The encounter, held at the Guillermón Moncada stadium in Santiago, was defined from the very first episode, in which the Indomitos scored a decisive 5-run run.
Both teams will now travel to Villa Clara where the champion of Cuban baseball in the under-23 category will be defined. The actions will resume this Saturday, September 3.
The title will go to the first team to reach three victories.
