Caracas, March 10 (RHC)-- President Nicolás Maduro, during the balance day of the Bolivarian Shield Military Exercises Supreme Commander Hugo Chávez Frías 2021, denounced on Tuesday the intervention of the Colombian government in plans of violence against Venezuela.

The president revealed plans from Colombia to steal weapons from Venezuela.  Likewise, Maduro said that the Colombian government has tried to bribe more than 600 Venezuelan officers.

"Every day they are looking for a traitor but they have not been able to (...). They want to cause confusion in the Venezuelan arms system.  Let no one lower their guard," warned the Venezuelan leader.

"They want to escalate an armed conflict from the rehash reactivated by Iván Duque to try to violate the sacred Venezuelan territorial sovereignty," stressed the president of the South American nation.

President Nicolás Maduro expressed that the Military Exercises Bolivarian Shield 2021 will be repeated "at the time and in the region that is needed" to test the capacity of deployment and "territorial defense in the states, in the municipalities, in the communes, on the borders, on the coasts, on the rivers."
