Gaza City, June 30 (RHC)-- According to the UN Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA), between Monday and Thursday this week, 139 Palestinians were reported killed and 331 injured in Israeli attacks in the Gaza Strip.

The latest OCHA situation report also notes that between 60,000 and 80,000 residents of eastern and northeastern Gaza City fled on Thursday as Israel launched a ground attack on the Shujayea neighborhood.  Military orders for people to immediately evacuate Shujayea added to the over-displacement of Gaza’s population by Israeli forces since October, who have now uprooted about 78 percent of the territory’s 2.3 million population.

The OCHA report also said that only 49 of 101 planned humanitarian aid missions to northern Gaza were facilitated by Israeli forces between June 1 and 27.  Ten missions were denied, 30 were impended and 12 were cancelled.
