Caracas, February 9 (RHC)-- The Minister of Interior, Justice and Peace of Venezuela, Diosdado Cabello, affirmed that leaders of the Venezuelan extreme right, who fled to the United States, had the support of U.S. government officials to steal more than 32 billion dollars.
During the broadcast of his podcast "Sin truco ni Maña," Cabello assured that these resources were given to right-wing extremists with the aim of financing terrorist and destabilizing acts against the Bolivarian Government.
In addition, Cabello affirmed that the fugitives from Venezuelan justice: Juan Guaidó, Carlos Vecchio, Leopoldo López, Julio Borges and Lilian Tintori, received the support of the supposed ambassador James Story, Congressman Mark Green and a group of senators to carry out the great scam against the United States.
“None of this can be done without the complicity of officials of the United States government. They had a license to steal. These unscrupulous people put their hands in the pockets of American taxpayers. Part of that money is from the gringos,” Cabello stressed.
In this regard, the Vice President of the Policy, Citizen Security and Peace Sector, Diosdado Cabello, stressed that, if the United States government wants to investigate these events, it must do so in a clear manner so that the truth comes to light. “Let them send these criminals here, because here we'll have open, public trials for them,” he added.
According to the leaked files, the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) signed an agreement in 2019 with the fugitive Juan Guaidó to provide 98 million dollars for alleged “humanitarian aid” in Venezuela. In addition, these files revealed that another fugitive from justice, Carlos Vecchio, received 116 million dollars through USAID.
NGOs led the campaigns to turn opposition sectors into scorpions, Cabello said. The official presented data published on the United States State Department website, where open support for the 2015 National Assembly appears.
