Boston, March 14 (RHC)-- Harvard Law students have overwhelmingly passed a referendum calling on Harvard University to divest its more than $50 billion endowment from “weapons, surveillance technology, and other companies aiding violations of international humanitarian law, including Israel’s genocide in Gaza and its ongoing illegal occupation of Palestine.”
The move comes as the Trump administration is cracking down heavily on U.S. universities where campus protests have been prominent over the past years.
