Havana, October 22 (RHC)-- Six Argentinian presidential candidates end their political campaigns on Thursday and will face off in the elections on Sunday to choose a new president and vice president of the country.

According to Argentinian Law, the candidate with more than 45 percent of votes or at least 40 percent with a 10-point-difference from the nearest rival will be the winner of the elections.

The candidate from Frente para la Victoria Party, Daniel Scioli -- the favorite according to polls –- has announced part of his cabinet in a strategy to show himself as a candidate with no surprises.

Coming second is Mauricio Macri, right-wing businessman and outgoing Buenos Aires major, who is trying to show himself as a leader of national scope and not a metropolitan bourgeois as he has been criticized.

Argentinians will also elect national legislators and parliamentarian to MERCOSUR as well as governors and deputy governors, deputies and mayors in 11 provinces.
