Denver, November 28 (RHC)-- In the U.S. state of Colorado, at least three people have been killed in a shooting incident in Colorado Springs. The incident started on Friday at a branch of Planned Parenthood, with police officers exchanging fire with the shooter for at least five hours.

The shooter had barricaded himself inside the facility before he surrendered to officers. The suspect is reportedly in police custody.

Police were in a shootout with a gunman inside a Planned Parenthood facility in Colorado Springs, Colorado, Friday afternoon, hours after a shooter was first reported in the area.

There is no further information on the suspect or what his motive was for the shooting, said Lt. Catherine Buckley, a Colorado Springs police spokeswoman.
