Delegates reviewed Cuba's international cooperation, through initiatives such as the Yes I Can literacy method, which has taught over 10 million people to read and write across several continents, or its pedagogical work in other areas.

The specialist also highlighted the importance of Cuba's participationin the Conference on South-South Cooperation, as it shows what a small country besieged for over 60 years by an economic, financial and international blockade imposed by the US, has been able to do for
cooperation and the welfare of the people.
