Havana, January 5 (RHC) -- The repeated inclusion of Cuba in unilateral reports by the United States responds to the need to justify its inhumane measures of encirclement and economic war against the island, Foreign Minister Bruno Rodriguez denounced Friday.

This was ratified by the foreign minister in his account on the social network X, where he added that the presence of his country in U.S. lists of terrorism, human rights and religious freedom is not linked to the exemplary performance of the Caribbean country.

This Thursday, Cuba and Nicaragua were again included in a list, unilaterally created by Washington, of countries, which in the opinion of the US government have "participated in or tolerated particularly serious violations of religious freedom".

Press reports indicate that the State Department made a second list with countries "under observation", in which Algeria, Vietnam, the Comoros, Central African Republic and Azerbaijan are again included.

In this regard, Cuban Deputy Foreign Minister Carlos Fernandez de Cossio denounced in X that, with customary hypocrisy, Cuba is accused of violating religious freedoms by the US Government, whose hands are stained with blood for its racist and criminal complicity in Israel's genocide against Palestine.   (Source: Prensa Latina).
