National Audit Aims at Encouraging Efficient Administrative Activity

Havana, November 2 (RHC)-- A National Internal Control process began Monday and will run until December 11th throughout the island for state entities. The process is aimed at contributing to an efficient administrative activity emphasis on the implementation, development and impact of the ongoing decision-taking empowerment of Cuban state companies.

Experts conducting the audit and inspections will also analyze the application of actions related to population aging and the granting of subsidies to citizens that need construction materials to raise or repair their homes, along with other complementary programs, according to this morning's edition of Granma newspaper.

The National Control is organized and enforced by the General Comptroller's Office along with the National Audit System, and in this year's action, participants include auditors and experts from different state entities, such as sanitary specialists from the Health Ministry, inspectors from the Construction Ministry, professors and students from all Cuban universities.

The process, which includes over 390 control and audit actions, is a preventive and educational initiative contributing to encourage a culture of control on the basis of order, discipline and control.
