Columbus, March 10 (RHC)-- A business delegation from the U.S. state of Ohio has wrapped up a visit to Cuba, during which they explored possibilities of commerce on the Caribbean island.

Back home in northeastern Ohio, one of the leaders of the delegation, Sarah Boyarko, said that the trip was exploratory in nature.  She said that the group, which included business and government leaders from area as well as international business consultants from Columbus, established contacts in Cuba on specific development opportunities and ideas.

At a news conference upon their return from Cuba, she told a local radio station: “Everything was pretty high level and very introductory. So we got a really good understanding of the rules and regulations of doing business in Cuba, in addition to the workforce and cultural differences from the U.S.“

That was Sarah Boyarko, the Senior Vice President of Economic Development for the Youngstown-Warren Regional Chamber of Commerce, speaking to reporters upon the Ohio business delegation's return from Havana.
