Havana citizens woke up Tuesday morning cooler than ever this year after the arrival of a cold front that pushed temperatures down to 18 Celsius degrees, which for Cubans is cold, even more if it's windy like it is the case here.
The only warm place on the streets is the crowded Chinese Yutong buses and some of the many vintage cars that work as cabs in our city.
As windy as under a storm was the seafront drive area, as huge waves crashed over the seawall announcing that the cold front is already getting in and that the usual hot and sticky weather will take some days to come back, as you can see in the picture.
Citizens and visitors flock to coffee shops for a cup of what some call here the black nectar of the white gods (black, sweet and hot Cuban coffee) or a shot of the famous Havana Club, just to warm up and keep going.
