Havana, June 16 (RHC)-- A bibliographic exhibition opened at Havana’s José Martí National Library, as tribute to Che Guevara.

Historian Jose Antonio Doll Pérez told the press that the works on display, including magazines, newspapers, posters and photos from different years and by different authors, cover almost all facets of Che’s life.

Book titles include “Che, entre la multitud” (Che in the crowd), “Che Guevara: su pensamiento guerrillero” (Che Guevara: his guerrilla thinking) and “Posición de Cuba frente a los problemas internacionales” (Cuba’s stance on global problems), –this last one written by Che himself.

The exhibition will remain opened to the public through the end of June.

Born in Rosario, Argentina on June 14th, 1928, Ernesto Guevara de la Serna ‘Che’ was assassinated by CIA agents at La Higuera, in Bolivia, on October 9th, 1967. Admired by millions in Cuba, Latin America and across the world, Che Guevara is undoubtedly one of the greatest 20th century’s world figures.
