Cuba’s National Fine Arts Museum and the Bronx Museum of Arts began a cooperation project with the opening of the exhibition, Ruido salvaje or Wild Noise.

The title comes from a verse by French author, Victor Hugue, and the initial section includes the exhibition of permanent works of the museum’s collection. Meanwhile next year the art institution located in the famous New York neighborhood of the Bronx will welcome an exhibition of pieces from the Cuban Fine Arts Museum collection.

Wild Noise is made up of 96 pieces of 54 artists on display at the Cuban Museum’s Universal Arts Collection headquarters in what is considered the first exchange of that kind between the Cuban institution and a foreign entity. The project is set to promote experts, curators and artists from both cultural centers, and an academic encounter in June in the Cuban capital.
