Pan American Games in Santiago de Chile

Santiago de Chile, July 14 (PL) - More than 200 thousand tickets for the Pan American and Parapan American Games were sold in Chile in just 24 hours and several sports sold out all their tickets, informed the Santiago 2023 Organizing Committee.

Those in charge of the event highlighted the high level of public interest in the continental sporting event, with about 100 days to go until the start of the Games.

Sales exceeded by 25 thousand the tickets purchased on the first day of marketing of the Copa America 2015, also held in Chile.

Among the competitions where there are no longer any places are BMX freestyle cycling, BMX racing, figure skating and speed skating, as well as the finals of men's basketball, tennis, beach volleyball and artistic swimming.

Ticket prices range from US$5.7 to US$11.5 for the Pan American Games and from US$4.30 to US$8.6 for the Parapan American Games.

The former will take place from October 20 to November 5 and the latter from November 10 to 26.
