Artemisa, January 21 (RHC) -- With an extraordinary monticular work by Erlis Casanova, the Cazadores de Artemisa gave a blow of authority today in their 26 de Julio Stadium and defeated the Cocodrilos de Matanzas (3-2), to tie the grand final of the II Elite League of Cuban baseball.

The emotion could be "touched" in the crowded Artemidean sports facility, when the right-hander got the 27th out of the game. 

I am absolutely certain that no baseball lover in the largest of the Antilles could fail to admire Casanova's manifestation of commitment, sporting quality and love for baseball.

The pitcher had been out of action for several days, since a family news took him away from the diamonds, but today he stood on the mound like the great he is, hanging zero after zero until the eighth chapter, where he allowed a couple of runs.

It is worth mentioning the detail of his mentor Yulieski González, who at Erlis' own request to continue, placed all his trust in him and the right-hander did not make him look bad. 

Finally, the pitcher from Pinar del Río pitched the whole game, allowed two runs, struck out five and gave only one ticket.

On the other side, his rival César García was no less and after allowing one run in the beginning of the game, he composed himself and did not tolerate anything more until his exit in the seventh inning.
