Costa Rica, April 8 (RHC) Costa Rican president-elect Luis Guillermo Solis said on Monday that his country’s political history will undergo deep change as to the people’s role in government decisions.

Luis Guillermo Solis, of the Partido Accion Ciudadana party, won Sunday’s second round of presidential elections in Costa Rica after defeating his rival Johnny Araya, from the Partido Liberacion Nacional party, with 77, 88 percent of the votes, meaning 1 million 258 thousand 715 votes, according to preliminary results.
