London, October 10 (RHC)-- Climate change protesters belonging to the extinction rebellion group have begun a world-wide, two-week protest, with the biggest being staged in London, that aims to force governments to take a more urgent response to the pollution emitted by big corporations and how that is impacting the planet.

The demonstrators have drawn praise, as well as condemnation for their blocking of multiple main roads, forcing vehicles to take longer routes to reach their destinations.

With the number of arrests growing to upwards of five hundred in London alone, according to the MET police, the UK government is yet to address any of the demands of the demonstrators.
However the protest is still in its early stages.  In some protest locations, such as Sydney Australia, demonstrators handed cash out to those delayed in traffic.

British Prime Minister Boris Johnson has responded to the situation by addressing the extinction rebellion demonstrators as nuisances and claims that he cared about the issue of climate change long before Greta Thunberg.  Prompting many to believe, that the British Premier will not deliver on the protesters demands.
