Ramallah, November 14 (RHC)-- The Israeli military has carried out fresh airstrikes on the Gaza Strip for the second consecutive day, killing 13 Palestinians and injuring many more. The Palestinian Islamic Jihad resistance movement says one of its members is among the victims during Wednesday's attacks.
Palestinian groups say they have fired 20 Grad rockets at the Israeli cities of Ashkelon and Sderot. Earlier on Wednesday, similar rocket attacks set off sirens in Israeli towns near the Gaza Strip. Following the attacks, Israel declared a state of emergency for 48 hours in an area 80 kilometers from the Gaza Strip.
Meanwhile, Palestinian lawmakers in the Israeli Knesset have been expelled from a session. That’s after they criticized the Israeli prime minister for the deadly aggression against Gaza, calling it a war crime.
The death toll of Palestinians is still on the rise as Israel keeps on its attacks on the impoverished enclave. Palestinian groups say they will not sit idle and will give a firm response to the ongoing aggression.
