Deaths from the pandemic have also escalated in recent days, surpassing the 180,000 mark. Over the past 24 hours, more than 1,000 people lost their lives in the United States due to COVID-19.
According to authorities, the country shows stability in the confirmation of new infections and in the recorded deaths. However, in the last 14 days, the United States has reported more than 618,000 cases.
In that same period, the lowest daily figure reported is about 32,000 cases, an amount that has not dropped in over two months -- since June 21st.
