London, May 20 (RHC)-- In London, outside the Colombian embassy, activists and people from all walks of life have been demonstrating for several days now, making their voices heard.
The Colombian citizens, living in the UK, expressed deep concern for the Colombian community, their families back home and the grave situation they face amid claims of corruption, police brutality and human rights violations.
Organizers of the protest in London are appealing for support from UK parliamentarians. Protestors have also expressed their solidarity and concern for the Palestinians especially since Colombian police are allegedly trained by groups including Israeli occupation forces.
The protests of ordinary Colombians are being heard around the world, with the government currently showing little sign of shifting its stance. Many activists remain deeply concerned about the very serious situation in Colombia and will continue to highlight the ongoing issues in the hope of attracting more support from around the world.
