Washington, January 11 (RHC)-- U.S. federal prosecutors have issued former President Trump’s personal attorney Rudy Giuliani a grand jury subpoena as part of an investigation into Trump’s fundraising efforts after the 2020 election.
According to multiple news reports citing an unnamed person familiar with the matter, the Save America PAC raised over $250 million off Trump supporters on the false claim the 2020 election results were fraudulent.
It’s not clear how much of the money Trump’s lawyers received, but one witness told the House January 6th committee that Giuliani asked to be paid $20,000 a day.
