Vietnam’s Parliament enters next to the last day of work
Hanoi, Jun 22 (RHC) Vietnam's National Assembly (Parliament) will complete its next to last working day of the fifth regular session of the 15th legislature on Thursday, in which it plans to approve the Amended Law on Electronic Transactions.
The lawmakers will also vote on the amendment of several articles of the People’s Police Law and adopt resolutions on allocating capital for the tasks and projects of the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program and the State Budget in 2023.
The parliamentarians will express their opinion to establish a thematic supervisory delegation of the 2024 National Assembly and discuss the Draft Law on Telecommunications (amended) and the Draft Law on Citizenship Identification.
Regarding the latter, VNA announced adding regulations on managing and issuing ID cards to people aged 0-14 years and other persons of Vietnamese origin to guarantee their legitimate rights and interests and facilitate state management.
On Wednesday, Vietnamese lawmakers focused on the amended Land Law. Many of them stressed that the organization of the work would gather opinions from the public, specialists, and scholars on this issue.
The fifth regular session of the 15th Vietnam National Assembly took place in two phases. The first phase was from May 22 to June 10, while the second holds from June 19 to 23. (Source: Prensa Latina)
