New York, June 5 (RHC)-- Human Rights Watch has condemned Israel for repeatedly firing incendiary white phosphorus shells into southern Lebanon over the past eight months.
The New York City-based human rights group has verified white phosphorus attacks on 17 municipalities, including five towns where the shells struck populated residential areas.
Lebanon’s Ministry of Public Health says the attacks have injured at least 173 people.
