Washington, March 30 (RHC)-- U.S. Republican hawk John Bolton has denounced the nuclear talks underway between Iran and the P5+1 countries, calling on the United States to immediately launch a military offensive against the Islamic Republic of Iran to damage its nuclear infrastructure.

Bolton, who was U.S. ambassador to the United Nations during the George W. Bush administration, made the remarks in an article published by the New York Times. Bolton wrote: “The inescapable conclusion is that Iran will not negotiate away its nuclear program. Nor will sanctions block its building a broad and deep weapons infrastructure.”

Bolton wrote that a U.S. attack probably will not destroy Iran’s entire nuclear infrastructure, “but by breaking key links in the nuclear-fuel cycle, it could set back its program by three to five years.”
