Caracas, July 27 (RHC) –- Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro expressed his government's readiness to expand the successful Miracle Mission to Colombia, a social program aimed at helping people with visual impairment.
Local media highlighted on Monday the remarks of Maduro at a tribute to late Venezuelan leader Hugo Chavez, when he invited his Colombian counterpart, Juan Manuel Santos, to work together for the benefit of thousands of students, workers and farmers.
Maduro said that after 11 years, Miracle Mission has aided almost four million people to restore their eyesight, 7,700 of them from Colombia.
