Santiago de Chile, September 19 (RHC-teleSUR) -- Chile has been hit by two new earthquakes of magnitudes 6 and 6.3 early Saturday, just as the country is recovering from an earthquake that left over a dozen dead and millions evacuated. The first earthquake, registered at 2 a.m. local time, had a magnitude of 6.3 and took place 101 kilometers northeast of Tongoy, according to the National Seismological Center. The second hit at 6 a.m. local time with a magnitude of 6.0, just 32 kilometers northeast of Canela Baja. The quakes come after a 8.4 magnitude earthquake shook central Chile Wednesday evening, causing at least 13 deaths. More than a million were evacuated as small tsunami waves pounded the coast.
