Moscow, October 21 (RHC)-- Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has traveled to Moscow to meet with his Russian counterpart, Vladimir Putin.
According to reports from Moscow, al-Assad held talks with Putin Tuesday night. During the visit, al-Assad praised Russia for the "help they are giving Syria," while the Russian president said he wanted to see a political settlement to the conflict.
