Mexico City, November 12 (teleSUR-RHC)-- A video released on Wednesday on YouTube by an anonymous source shows dozens of Mexican federal police chasing bus loads of Ayotzinapa teacher training students in Guerrero state, Mexico, near to where 43 teacher students were disappeared in September last year.

According to Mexico’s PCM Noticias, the students were traveling in eight buses, who apparently demanded the buses stop.

Student activist Jose Castillo told PCM Noticias that the police immediately began to attack them, breaking bus windows and firing tear gas into them.

“They attacked us from behind, they fired at the buses, and we were trapped inside, we couldn’t get out. Some people escaped through the windows, but there were mates who fainted inside the bus,” Castillo said.

Mexican media reports that the students had to run into the bush to escape the attacks by the police and army. According to La Jornada there were 20 injuries. Other media reported multiple arrests.

“This aggression is aimed at making us enemies of the people,” Castillo said, still worried about some of the students who at the time were still wandering the bush at night.

“We become impotent to do anything about it, but we aren’t going to accept impunity, we don’t want more fellow students killed, we don’t want more disappearances,” he added.
