Ramallah, December 26 (RHC)-- Israeli forces have killed two Palestinians and injured over two dozen others in the occupied West Bank and the besieged Gaza Strip. The Tel Aviv regime forces shot and killed a Palestinian woman in the town of Silwad, northeast of Ramallah, the West Bank, on Friday.

In a separate incident, a second Palestinian died after he was shot by Israeli forces during clashes east of Gaza City. Israeli forces also fired tear gas at Palestinian protesters in the clashes.

Israeli settlers have intensified violence against Palestinians and their properties. The settlers frequently storm the al-Aqsa Mosque, the third holiest site in Islam. Palestinians say the Tel Aviv regime seeks to restrict Palestinians from entering the site and change the status quo of the compound.
