Havana, November 29 (RHC)-- A mass rally has begun at Havana's Plaza de la Revolucion, which is filled with hundreds of thousands of people. With Cuban President Raul Castro presiding, leaders from around the world are speaking and giving their condolences on the passing of the historic leader of the Cuban Revolution, Fidel Castro.
Among the first speakers taking the podium were Ecuadorean President Rafael Correa, South African President Jacob Zuma, Salvadorean President Salvador Sánchez Céren, and Greek Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras.
The rally got underway at 7 p.m. local time and is expected to last for several hours.
